Ryan S. Kinelski - Ski Music
Ryan is a Music Explorer. His lifetime passion for the art form has led him on a unique journey to gain understanding from many diverse perspectives in order to solidify the core concepts that make up its foundation.
As an honors graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston; his vast music experiences range from NYC to L.A., New Orleans to Chicago and Switzerland to Japan. From Music Director, Pianist, Keyboardist and Arranger for Bruno Mars and Comic Relief, to Writing, Producing, Performing, Programming, Mixing… even Mastering his own Original Music. And thru continued practice of Keys, Vox, Bass, Drums/Percussion, & Guitar/Ukulele; he’s constantly experimenting w/ numerous sonic elements of the language.
You can hear Ryan’s songs and tracks in Films by Red Bull Media House, Eric Perlman and Standard Films; Television shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Law and Order, and The Jersey Shore; as well as advertisements for brands like Burger King, M&M’s, and Powerade. He has also appeared as a Session Musician on countless commercials alongside notable musicians such as Lenny Picket, Hiram Bullock and Chris Bottie. Ryan has even performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
While participating in, and influenced by a variety of styles (including Pop, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Folk, Reggae, Country, Classical & Latin)… he uncompromisingly rebells against cliches, “intentional borrowing” and any specific replication.
When he’s not outside celebrating nature (and even at times when he is) you can find Ryan writing songs, stacking vocal harmonies, performing Drums, Bass, Piano, Keyboards, Guitar, Ukulele and Vox (often multiple instruments at the same time), Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Woodshedding and generally nerding out on Melody, Harmony and Rhythm 🤓.

Ryan grew up surrounded by music. His father was a gifted pianist (accepted as a student of Lenny Tristano) and both his mother and father were world champion barber shop singers. There was always a piano in the house, and soon he was picking out parts and melodies and learning songs; which eventually lead to formal piano lessons.
